AI Is Here To Stay
So if you are a creative type...you'd better embrace it and use it to your advantage. I make custom videos for my family members on their birthdays. It's a good chance to try something new and fun without worrying about what "the client" will think of it. Also I'm cheap and hate buying presents. I made this first one for my brother-in-law who was the biggest Nirvana fan in Columbus, GA back in 1993. The video is slice and diced from a vintage 1990s Sound Garden video that I masked and overlaid with images of me and my brother-in-law and timed with an AI generated, grunge inspired "Happy Birthday" song (that required a good bit of prompt and editing trickery to get right). It turned out pretty epic. The next video is one I made for my mother-in-law where I took a different approach and utilized AI to help animate some old baby photos of her that have been in a photo album for 50 years. After applying a bit of noise and blur to the AI generated videos, I ended them together with a "doo-wop" inspired "Happy Birthday" song generated by AI. The resulting video is sweet and sentimental and unlike anything I've ever seen before.
